The Fantastic New World “新世界”交互书籍设计

I chose four traditional poems from ancient China to narrate this project. The four old poems are “Thrush Bird” by Ouyang Xiu from the Song Dynasty, “Listen to Insects” by Bai Juyi from the Tang Dynasty, “Watching the Fish Pool” by Li Bai from the Tang Dynasty, and “Horse Poem” by Li He from the Tang Dynasty. These four poems are all about the poets’ feelings of 怀才不遇 (someone has a cavity of talent but there is no reasonable opportunity to display) after being demoted by officials. And ancient Chinese people always expressed their feelings subtly, so they used animals as metaphors to describe their current situation.

我选择了四首中国古代的传统诗歌来叙述这个项目。这四首古诗分别是宋代欧阳修的《画眉鸟》、唐代白居易的《听虫》、唐代李白的《观鱼池》和唐代李贺的《马诗》。这四首诗都是诗人在被官吏降职后怀才不遇的感受。中国古人总是巧妙地表达他们的感情，所以他们用动物作为隐喻来描述他们的现状。
